Chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states on Sunday unanimously passed a resolution lauding the success of Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military strike against terror camps in Pakistan. The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, was marked by strong praise for the armed forces and the government’s firm stance on national security.
The resolution commended the “exemplary bravery, strategic military precision, and unwavering dedication” displayed by India’s defense forces during the operation. Leaders highlighted that the strike sent a clear and bold message to cross-border terrorists and their backers — India will respond decisively and on its own terms.
Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma proposed the resolution, while Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde seconded it, stating Operation Sindoor was a symbol of India’s fearless national resolve under Modi’s leadership. “No distinction will be made between terrorists and those who support them,” he said.
Another key resolution passed during the meeting supported the Union government’s move for caste enumeration. BJP president JP Nadda said that while the NDA doesn’t believe in caste politics, the data will help ensure inclusive development for communities left behind in various sectors.
The meeting also saw presentations from CMs on policy innovations — including Uttarakhand’s implementation of Uniform Civil Code, Chhattisgarh’s Bastar model, and UP’s Mahakumbh preparations. Leaders agreed to amplify India’s new counter-terror doctrine globally and mark 11 years of NDA governance with nationwide outreach events.
